Breaking News - Miers has withdrawn...

CNN is reporting that Harriet Miers has withdrawn her nomination for the Supreme Court. No surprise. I have been predicting that she wouldn't make it to the Senate hearings.

This morning Bush announced that he would set up a Special Committee to help him come up with a new nominee. The Committee will be co-chaired by James Dobson and Pat Robertson. Of course I'm just joking. A little humor to brighten up another historic day!

The question is will Bush give the rightwingers some 'red-meat' or will he tell them to take a hike. Stay tuned!
