The violence continues in Iraq...

Two Iraqis were killed in Baquba last Friday by acts of violence, and six unidentified bodies were found in the streets of the city.

Scenes like this one are now commonplace in Iraq. It is the ordinary citizens that are suffering the most. People of means are getting out of the country. There seems to be no end in sight to the brutal violence that is destroying society. It is not likely that additional U.S. troops would be able to bring the situation under control.
