One of the most valuable resources available to people who are part of the Katrina diaspora is the on-line edition of the
Times-Picayune. Almost every day the lead story focuses on Katrina-related issues. For example, today they have
this story on how residents of one community are taking matters into their own hands to prevent looting.
When I lived in Louisiana several decades ago I used to consider the
Times-Picayune to be a somewhat dull and uninteresting newspaper. I guess that's why I am so impressed with the online edition. Most informative!
